Listen To Your Body

November 11, 2014

I just read that experts are now saying low carb is the way to go, but years ago they said a diet based in breads, cereals, and pasta was the best to follow. See, these so-called experts aren’t always right – look what they said about Atkins 20 years ago! They said it was a diet based on fat and bacon, and it’s actually a well-rounded low-carb diet.

Over the years, I’ve learned to not blindly follow what I heard or read about diets. I’ve done my own research and you should too. Don’t just listen to what I have to say either, experiment to find what works best for you and your own body.

For me, Atkins has helped me with my lifestyle change and all my food triggers. The plan that’s most successful for you might be completely different from what others are doing and that’s fine! We’re all diverse and everyone’s body acts differently to change. No matter what you choose, the only thing that matters at the end of the day is that you are living a happier and healthier life.
What have you discovered about your body? I’d love to hear it!
Big Kiss,
Sharon

PS. I finally updated my profile with my “skinny” photo – it’s so fabulous to say that!
