My Story: Im Italian and used to eat 3 plates of spaghetti and bread at one sitting, every Sunday, ate pretzels for breakfast, inhaled beets by the can during the day, and then wondered why I looked the way I did. In fact, my brother and father were very critical of my weight and used to tell me I looked like a football player.
I have always walked every day and played tennis often, however, I ate many carbs, and I just kept getting bigger. I was very frustrated and just wanted something to change for the better, not for the fatter.
