* The average person can expect to lose 1-2 lbs. per week. Results may vary. Weight loss is influenced by exercise, food consumed and diet
When I went away to school my junior year of college (Fall 2010), I was 205lbs or so and hated the way I felt; I was always out of breath and tired after walking around campus to classes. I decided I needed to take control of my life now, before it got out of hand. A friend of mine swore by Low Carb and Sugar Free, so I decided to give it a try. It was not easy on a college campus, but I learned to get creative with what they had to offer and managed to lose 65lbs in a year and a half (hit my goal March 2012). Now that I’m home and working, it’s a little harder to keep it off, but I’ve been successful in keeping it off (about 21 months). I feel that if I can do it, anyone can do it and Atkins really did work for me!
I honestly started without a "goal" in mind; I just wanted to feel healthier. As I went, I started setting goals, with an end goal of 140.
How Atkins Helped Get Me There: Atkins products were a LIFESAVER in college! It was so easy to throw a couple bars in my backpack to get through a long day. And the information on the website helped with lots of between class snacks that got me through rough days without hitting up the quick food available on campus.
