My Story:
One day I looked at myself in a mirror, i weighed 275lbs and stood out in a crowd in a negative way. I was always tired, drew no positive attention (only bad laughs) and had no energy to keep up with my friends.
I decided it was time for a lifestyle change. I had tried many different diets but was always hungry and after a couple weeks failed to stay on track. I bought some books and did some research.
After a couple hard nights of studying, I decided to give Atkins a try. After only a couple of weeks, I was almost down 15lbs. Most of that was water weight but enough to raise an eyebrow and keep me going. A few weeks later weight loss stopped. I became very nervous and started searching different news forums. The help I received was amazing, enough to encourage me to keep going.
Over the next couple of months, my family and coworkers were curious what I was doing, after sharing they even asked for advice. This reaction made me feel something I had never felt before, and eventually I lost more then the 75lbs I had hoped for.
Today, 8 months later I continue to live the Atkins lifestyle, and have many followers who too have had results similar to mine. During this whole time I have NEVER starved myself and have always felt comfortable customizing my meals at any restaurant I attend.
Atkins has helped me reach several of my goals, including climbing many 14ers, hiking the Manitou Incline, meeting new friends, and living a happy lifestyle.

My Goals:
My goal was to lose 75lbs and not kill myself in the process. I wanted to live a healthier life and do things like hiking, playing sports, and live an active lifestyle. I was tired of waking up tired and being exhausted after walking up a flight of stairs.
