Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound Shrimp
- 4 ounces Blue Crab (Canned)
- 4 tablespoons chopped Shallots
- 1 1/2 cups Chicken Broth, Bouillon or Consomme
- 2 tablespoons Light Olive Oil
- 3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
- 4 tablespoons All Natural Clam Juice
- 1/8 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 10 ounces Clams (Mixed Species, Drained Solids, Canned)
- 12 Cherry Tomatoes
Directions:
- In a medium pot, warm the oil over medium heat. Add chopped shallot and minced or pressed garlic, sautéing 2 minutes, until translucent.
- Stir in the chopped celery, quartered tomatoes, and broth. Add ¼ cup clam juice from the canned chopped clams, and season with Old Bay seasoning, Italian herbs, and pepper. Bring to simmer and cook 3 minutes.
- Add shrimp, drained clams, and drained crab, bring back to a simmer of medium heat and maintain a simmer and cook 5 minutes, until the shrimp are firm and pink.
- Serve immediately, while warm. One serving is about 1 cup.
