Quick Keto Barbecued Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sliced Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Canola Vegetable Oil
  • 1 pound Pork Chops or Roasts (Center Rib, Bone-In)
  • 1/2 teaspoon leaf Oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper

Directions:

Use the Atkins recipe to make Barbecue Sauce for this recipe; you will need 3/4 cup. 
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add white onions and cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned; set aside. Sprinkle pork with oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat remaining tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Cook pork in batches until lightly browned.
  4. Add onions to saucepan and pour in 6 oz or 3/4 cup Barbecue Sauce; mix well. Reduce heat to medium low and cook 20 to 25 minutes, or until pork is tender.
