Keto Protein Packed Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
  • 1 scoop (1 scoop= 30 g) Quest Chocolate Milkshake Protein Powder
  • 1 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 tablespoons Cream Cheese, original
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, use a fork to blend together the softened cream cheese, protein powder and cinnamon until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of heavy cream and mix until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl whip the heavy cream with the vanilla with an electric hand mixer until doubled in volume.
  3. Add about 1/3 of the whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture, blending with the electric mixer on low until combined.  Add another 3rd of the whipped cream folding it into the mixture by hand until well blended.  Add the final 3rd of the whipped cream, folding until fully incorporated.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.  Makes about 1 1/2 cups, each serving is 2 tbsp.
