INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE Harris-Teeter Inc.
  • 0 1/2 tbsp SALT Morton Salt, Inc.
  • 1 each CHIPOTLE PEPPERS IN ADOBO SAUCE Marquez Brothers International, Inc.
  • 0 1/4 cup REAL MAYONNAISE Unilever Bestfoods North America
  • 0 1/2 cup, shredded CHEDDAR CHEESE Pineland Farms Potato Company Inc.
  • 2 lb Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat a grill or broiler. In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
  2. Form into six 4-inch patties. Grill patties, or broil 6-inches from heat source, 5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness (cook longer, if desired).
  3. Two minutes before the burgers are done, top with cheese.
  4. Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and chopped chipotle in a small bowl. Adjust the amount of chipotle pepper to your level of spicy. Serve burgers topped with optional slices of tomato and red onion; wrapped in lettuce with the chipotle mayonnaise on the side.
