Cooking tip: This recipe could also be used as a dipping sauce!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Orange Zest
- 5 each Garlic, clove
- 1 fluid ounce Fresh Lime Juice
- 12 tablespoons Canola Vegetable Oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3/4 teaspoon leaf Oregano
- 2 tablespoons Cilantro, fresh, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 small Red Onion
Directions:
Garlic and lime, suggesting a Cuban mojo, flavor this marinade. It's particularly good with all cuts of pork and chicken (marinate at least 2 hours and up to 24) and fish and shellfish (marinate no longer than 20 minutes). Each serving is 2 tablesponons.
- Combine lemon juice, lime juice, cilantro, onion, orange zest, oregano, salt and chopped garlic cloves in a blender; blend until smooth.
- Add the oil and pulse to combine.
