Keto Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 tablespoon Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper, ground
  • 2 each Portobello Mushroom, cap
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 each Garlic, clove
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Thyme, fresh
  • 1/3 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl combine oil, thyme, vinegar, minced or pressed garlic, soy sauce and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Prepare mushrooms by removing the stems and brushing off the caps with a dry paper towel. Place mushrooms in a flat bottom dish, measure 1 ½ teaspoons marinade into the gill side of the mushrooms and spread around. Spread the rest of the marinade on the other side of the mushrooms, and set aside gill side up in the flat bottom dish for 10-20 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill on high flame for 3-5 minutes. Reduce flame to medium, and grill mushrooms, gill side up first, for 3 minutes each side. Serve while warm. One Portobello cap is one serving.
