Cooking tip: This recipe could also be used as a dipping sauce!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon chopped Shallots
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 4 fluid ounces Red Table Wine
- 2 teaspoons Rosemary
- 2 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
- 2 teaspoons No Calorie Sweetener
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
Directions:
Steaks, venison, bison or other game, thick onion slices and summer squash are amoung the foods that stand up well to this full-flavored marinade. Substitute a small onion for the shallot if you wish. This recipe is considered a Phase 1 recipe even though it contains wine; the wine will burn off while cooking.
- Combine wine, oil, vinegar, diced shallot, minced garlic, sugar substitute, coarsely chopped rosemary, pepper, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
