Creamy Red Cabbage with Dill

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium (2-1/2" diameter) Onions
  • 1 head, medium (about 5" dia) Red Cabbage
  • 6 tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Sucralose Based Sweetener (Sugar Substitute)
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway Seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup sprig Dill
  • 1 cup Sour Cream (Cultured)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and caraway; sauté until soft, about 2 minutes.   Add cabbage and sauté until cabbage begins to soften, about 5 minutes.  
  2. Add 1/3 cup vinegar, sugar substitute, salt, and pepper; sauté until cabbage is crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.  Stir in sour cream and dill and serve right away.
