Ingredients:
- 3 teaspoons Orange Zest
- 12 ounces Goats Cheese (Hard)
- 1 teaspoon Lime Zest
- 3 teaspoons Lemon Zest
- 1/2 teaspoon Whole Black Peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 tablespoons Basil
Directions:
You will need lemon (1 tbsp), lime (1 tsp) and orange (1 tbsp) zest for this recipe.
- Combine oil, minced garlic, chopped basil, and the zests with 10 whole peppercorns (or 1/2 tsp ground black pepper) in a bowl; mix well.
- Place 12 goat cheese slices (or balls) in a small, shallow pan. Pour oil mixture over cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
- Bring to room temperature before serving. Each goat cheese round (or ball) serves one.
