Ingredients:
- 1 cup (107g) fresh cauliflower florets
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup (28g) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
Directions:
- Steam cauliflower in a steamer basket over boiling water in a medium covered sauce pot until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Remove to a bowl, add salt and pepper, and mash with a fork. Top with Cheddar cheese and garnish with chives if desired.
