Keto Beef Burger with Feta and Tomato
Cooking tip: Melting cheese inside this naturally keto and low carb burger gives a different texture than melting on top like a traditional cheeseburger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)
  • 1/4 cup, crumbled Feta Cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 large Scallions or Spring Onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dill weed, dried
  • 1/2 cup Baby Spinach
  • 1/4 cup, chopped or sliced Red Tomatoes

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl combine ground beef, thinly sliced scallion, finely chopped spinach, diced tomato, crumbled feta, 1.5 tsp fresh dill ( or 1/2 tsp dried), salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 6 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Optional: Serve wrapped in a lettuce leaf with a slice of tomato for an additional 0.9 g net carbs
