Cooking tip: Melting cheese inside this naturally keto and low carb burger gives a different texture than melting on top like a traditional cheeseburger.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup (15g) baby spinach, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (45g) diced fresh tomatoes
- 1/4 cup (38g) crumbled feta cheese
- 1 large (25g) scallion, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
- In a medium bowl combine ground beef, finely chopped spinach, diced tomato, crumbled feta, thinly sliced scallion, 1.5 tsp fresh dill ( or 1/2 tsp dried), salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 6 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Optional: Serve wrapped in a lettuce leaf with a slice of tomato for an additional 0.9 g net carbs
