Cooking tip: Melting cheese inside this naturally keto and low carb burger gives a different texture than melting on top like a traditional cheeseburger.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)
- 1/4 cup, crumbled Feta Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 large Scallions or Spring Onion
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Dill weed, dried
- 1/2 cup Baby Spinach
- 1/4 cup, chopped or sliced Red Tomatoes
Directions:
- In a medium bowl combine ground beef, thinly sliced scallion, finely chopped spinach, diced tomato, crumbled feta, 1.5 tsp fresh dill ( or 1/2 tsp dried), salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 6 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Optional: Serve wrapped in a lettuce leaf with a slice of tomato for an additional 0.9 g net carbs
