Cooking tip: Melting cheese inside this naturally keto and low carb burger gives a different texture than melting on top like a traditional cheeseburger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound 80% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup (15g) baby spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (45g) diced fresh tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup (38g) crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 large (25g) scallion, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl combine ground beef, finely chopped spinach, diced tomato, crumbled feta, thinly sliced scallion, 1.5 tsp fresh dill ( or 1/2 tsp dried), salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 6 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Optional: Serve wrapped in a lettuce leaf with a slice of tomato for an additional 0.9 g net carbs
