Ingredients:

  • 8 slice (1 ounce) Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 pieces Bacon, slab
  • 1 tablespoon Butter, salted or unsalted
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Jalapeño Pepper, fresh, sliced

Directions:

Please use the Atkins recipe to make Keto Bread. You will need 4 regular slices or servings.
  1. Let the cream cheese soften at room tempurature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Crumble the bacon and then combine it with the softened cream cheese and diced or sliced jalapeno peppers. Take 4 regular slices of Atkins Low Carb Bread and slice them in half to make 8 thinner slices for 4 servings. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over 4 slices of the bread.
  3. Layer the cheddar cheese over the cream cheese mixture and sandwich them together with the remaining slice of bread. Repeat for 3 more sandwiches.
  4. Melt the butter in a large non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes then flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes until browned and the cheese has melted.
