Atkins Flour Mix Recipe

0 1/4 cup Wheat Bran (Crude)
1 1/8 cup Whole Grain Soy Flour
0 2/3 cup Vanilla Whey Protein
0 1/4 cup Organic 100% Whole Ground Golden Flaxseed Meal
0 2/3 cup Wheat Gluten
This versatile low-carb flour mix is an important component of many of the recipes in Atkins' latest book: Atkins: Eat Right, Not Less. On shelves soon!
Please note that you will need 5 oz or 2/3 cup of the wheat gluten (for 9 servings of flour mix). Combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Makes about 3 cups, each serving is 1/3 cup.
Note: It is not necessary to use vanilla flavored whey protein powder, unflavored is ideal but the vanilla will not contribute much flavor to the mix so if it is what you have on hand, use it.
