Ingredients:

  • 1 1/8 cups whole grain soy flour
  • 2/3 cup vanilla whey protein
  • 2/3 cup (5-ounces) wheat gluten
  • 1/4 cup wheat bran (crude)
  • 1/4 cup ground golden flaxseed meal

Directions:

This versatile low-carb flour mix is an important component of many of the recipes in Atkins' book: Atkins: Eat Right, Not Less. On shelves now!
Combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Makes about 3 cups, each serving is 1/3 cup.
Note: It is not necessary to use vanilla flavored whey protein powder, unflavored is ideal but the vanilla will not contribute much flavor to the mix so if it is what you have on hand, use it.
