How to Calculate Atkins Net Carbs
Atkins Net Carbs = Total Carbohydrates – Fiber – Sugar Alcohols/Glycerin (if applicable)
×INGREDIENTS
-
7 Tbsp Cream Cheese, original
-
0 1/4 cup, shredded Cheddar Cheese
-
0 3/16 cup, shredded Monterey Cheese
-
0 1/2 teaspoon Chili powder
-
240 g fresh jalapeno peppers
-
6 slice Bacon
DIRECTIONS
Ingredient note: 240 grams of jalapenos is equivalent to 6 (3-4-inch) jalapenos.
- Heat air fryer to 390°F.
- In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar, Monterey jack, and chili powder until well combined and evenly distributed.
- Slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and discard, then fill with cream cheese mix (do not overfill). Slice the bacon in half, and loosely drape a slice of bacon over each filled jalapeno, securing the bacon on the top and bottom with a toothpick or skewer.
- Cook, in batches if needed, for 6 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese has melted. Remove from air fryer and serve.
