Keto Smokey Southern Barbecue Rubbed Chicken Legs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon Red or Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sucralose Based Sweetener (Sugar Substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 32 oz, with bone, raw (yield after cooking, bone removed) Chicken Drumstick
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp smokeds Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Sucralose Based Sweetener (Sugar Substitute)

Directions:

  1. Combine the salt, granular sugar substitutes (1 Tbsp regular sucralose and 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar sucralose), cumin, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper and paprika in a small bowl and mix well.  
  2. Preheat a grill.  
  3. Rub the spice mixture onto the chicken drumsticks until thoroughly coated.  Grill over medium heat until cooked through, turning 3-4 times for about 20 minutes or until skin is crispy and chicken is cooked through. 
  4. Serve with Blue Cheese Dip  if desired.
