INGREDIENTS

  • 0 1/2 fl oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0 1/4 tsp SALT Morton Salt, Inc.
  • 1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Tomatoes
  • 1 pepper JALAPENO PEPPERS Lauri Jo's Southern Style Canning
  • 2 Tbsp Cilantro, fresh, chopped
  • 2 each California Avocados
  • 1 large Scallions, raw

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice avocados in half lengthwise, remove pits and scoop pulp into bowl with a spoon, then roughly mash with a fork.  
  2. Trim the root and tips from the onion, dice the whole onion, and add to the bowl with the avocado. Remove the seeds from the jalapeno (using gloves), then mince the pepper and add to the bowl. Dice the tomato and add to the bowl. Add the lime juice, cilantro, and salt then mix to combine. Taste and adjust salt as needed.

Cooking Tip

For an extra kick, add another half of a jalapeno!
