Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup (sugar-free)
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2/3 cup (8 fluid ounces) Water, tap
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Whisk eggs in a large bowl.
- In a small saucepan, bring cream, water, pancake syrup and cinnamon to a boil. Gradually whisk cream mixture into eggs and return to saucepan.
- Pour mixture through a strainer into four 6-ounce ramekins or custard cups. Place cups in a large roasting pan; carefully pour enough boiling water into pan to reach halfway up sides of cups.
- Cover entire pan with foil and bake 35 minutes, until custards are set in centers. Remove from oven and allow to stand in the pan for 15 minutes.
- Remove cups from the pan and refrigerate, covered with plastic wrap, for 2 hours before serving.
