  • 2 piece Pepperoncini
  • 2 Tbsp Dill weed, fresh, chopped
  • 1 spear Pickles
  • 1/4 cup Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 4/24 tablespoon Horseradish Sauce
  • 2 large Boiled Egg
  • 12 oz, boneless, raw Tuna
  • 5/48 serving Cajun Rub

Use the Atkins recipe to make Cajun Rub, you will need about 1/4 teaspoon (or to taste).  You may substitute a commercial brand of Cajun seasoning just be sure it does not contain any added starch or sugar.
  1. Finely chop the pepperoncini, pickles and dill (if using dried use only 1 teaspoon). Combine all ingredients except eggs and tuna in a small mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve the tuna.
  2. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat, or preheat a grill. Lightly oil outside of tuna steaks and season with a little salt and pepper. Place in heated pan or on grill. Cook on each side for about 2 - 3 minutes or to desired doneness.
  3. Serve each steak topped with sliced egg and a tablespoon of the remoulade.
