String Beans with Ginger-Pecan Butter Recipe

0 1/4 cup, chopped PECANS
0 1/4 tsp SALT
1 lb Green Snap Beans
2 tablespoon Unsalted Butter Stick
1 tsp GINGER
- Bring water in a large pot fitted with a steamer basket to boil. Add beans and cook until tender-crisp, 5-6 minutes. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, make Ginger-Pecan Butter: mix pecans, butter, ginger and salt together in a small bowl until blended.
- Return beans to pot; add butter mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring, until beans are hot and butter has melted, about 1 minute.
