Keto Slow Cooker Savory Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 3 teaspoons Rosemary, fresh (0.7 g per teaspoon)
  • 6 teaspoons Coconut Aminos
  • 1 anchovy Anchovies, canned (1 anchovy= 4 g)
  • 1 1/2 cups Beef broth, bouillon, consomme
  • 24 ounce(s) Beef short ribs, boneless, raw
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder

Directions:

  1. Season the ribs with salt and pepper. Warm a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each side of each rib until browned, about 1 minute per side.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine the broth, coconut aminos, minced anchovy, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place each of the seared ribs in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours. 
  3. Remove the meat and pour the liquid into a wide saucepan. Simmer the liquid over medium heat until it is reduced, about 15 minutes. Divide the meat evenly (about 4-ounces cooked meat per serving) and drizzle with the reduced broth. Serve warm.
