Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 3 ounces raw pork breakfast sausage
- 1 small red bell pepper (74g), diced
- 1 small green bell pepper (74g), diced
- 1 ounce cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Remove casing from sausage, if it has one, and place in pan.
- Cook sausage for 3 minutes breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Add in diced red and green peppers and continue to sauté for 4-5 minutes until meat is browned and peppers are heated through.
- Place cheese on top, serve immediately.
