Protein Powered Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup dry oatmeal
  • 1 ounce scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 packet stevia sweetener

Directions:

  1. Prepare oatmeal using 1/2-3/4 cup water and a pinch of salt.  The amount of water will depend on how thick you like your oatmeal - more water gives a thinner oatmeal.  Stir oatmeal into boiling water.  Allow to sit for 2-3 minutes, 
  2. Stir in protein powder, vanilla extract and almond butter - taste for sweetness and then add sweetener to your taste preference.
