- 3 ounces Dry Textured Vegetable Protein
- 1 14 ounces can Coconut Cream
- 1 cup Tap Water
- 2 ounces Vanilla Whey Protein
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Large or Small Curd Creamed Cottage Cheese
Directions:
You can find textured vegetable protein (TVP) in any natural foods store or in some well-stocked supermarkets. In this recipe its texture suggests oatmeal.
- Combine the textured vegetable protein, coconut milk, water, cinnamon, protein powder and cottage cheese in a large saucepan with a heavy bottom.
- Cook, over low heat, for 20 minutes, or until mixture has thickened and is tender. Serve with a little cream and sugar substitute, if desired.
