Milk Chocolate Mocha Protein Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 15 large Strawberries, fresh, wholes
  • 4 tablespoons Cream Cheese, original
  • 1 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped) Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 scoop (1 scoop= 30 g) Quest Chocolate Milkshake Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Espresso, instant powder

Directions:

  1. With an electric mixer blend together the softened cream cheese, protein powder and instant coffee until smooth.  Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl whip the heavy cream with the vanilla until doubled in volume.
  3. Gently add 1/3 of the whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture blending until smooth.  Add another 3rd of the whipped cream folding it into the mixture until well blended.  Add the final 1/3 of the whipped cream, folding until fully incorporated.  Divide into 6 serving bowls, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. 
  4. Slice the strawberries and serve on top of the mousse.  Each serving is about 1/3 cup.
