Low Carb Green Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Blueberries, fresh
  • 2 grams Psyllium husk powder (1 tsp= 4 g)
  • 1/8 teaspoon Turmeric, ground
  • 1 scoop (1 scoop= 31 g) Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
  • 1 cup Hibiscus tea
  • 1/4 cup Cucumber, raw, sliced
  • 1/3 gram Chlorella powder (2 tsp= 5g)

Directions:

  1. In a heat resistant container, steep 1 bag hibiscus tea in 1 cup boiling water, covered, for 10 minutes. Remove tea bag, and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes, or until cold.
  2. Combine chilled tea, blueberries, cucumber, protein powder, psyllium, 1/8 teaspoon chlorella powder, and turmeric in a high powered blender until well combined. Add ice if desired, and serve cold.
