Lettuce-Wrapped Cheeseburger with Tomato, Avocado and Onion

Ingredients:

  • 1 slice (1 ounce) Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 thin slices Red Onions
  • 3 leaves Butterhead Lettuce (Includes Boston and Bibb Types)
  • 2 slice, thick/large (1/2" thick) Red Tomatoes
  • 1/2 fruit without skin and seed California Avocados
  • 6 ounces Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill.
  2. Form beef into a patty and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Grill to desired degree of doneness.
  3. Immediately top with cheese and allow to melt.
  4. Top with sliced onions, tomato and avocado. Wrap in lettuce leaves.
