Keto Jerk Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp, ground Thyme (Dried)
  • 2 tablespoons Canola Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Xylitol
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice Ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red or Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg (Ground)
  • 40 oz, with bone, cooked (yield after bone removed) Chicken Wing
  • 1 serving Stevia
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger (Ground)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.   Combine all spice ingredients and set aside.  
  2. Place wings and drummettes in a gallon sized zip top bag with the oil, shake to distribute the oil over all pieces.  Add the combined spices and shake to evenly coat.
  3. Place chicken on a sheet pan and put into the oven for 30-40 minutes until cooked through and fragrant.  Serve immediately with Sweet Ginger Chili Sauce if desired. Each 1 1/2 Tbsp serving of sauce = 1.7g NC additional.
