Cooking tip: This simple and delicious cocktail is a perfect celebration of Irish whisky. Try mixing different combinations of green, blue, yellow, and red food coloring gel to get the perfect Irish green cold foam to complement this fun drink.
Ingredients:
- 1 fluid ounce whiskey FNDDS
- 8 fluid ounces coffee FNDDS
- 1 tablespoon sugar free maple flavor syrup, Maple Grove Farms
- 1 1/2 fl-oz heavy whipping cream USDA
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar free maple flavor syrup, Maple Grove Farms
- 1 drop green food color
Directions:
Ingredient note: we used unsweetened, black, cold brewed coffee for this recipe.
- In a cocktail shaker, shake together cold coffee, whiskey, and 1 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup until well combined. Strain into an 8-ounce or larger coupe glass.
- Into the cocktail shaker, place ice, heavy cream, ½ teaspoon sugar free maple syrup, and food coloring. Cover and shake well, until outside of cup is icy cold, contents are well mixed and cream has thickened some. Pour gently over the coffee and serve while chilled.
