INGREDIENTS

  • 4 fl oz Red Table Wine
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chopped Shallots
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic
  • 2 tsp No Calorie Sweetener
  • 2 tsp Rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3/4 tsp Salt

DIRECTIONS

Steaks, venison, bison or other game, thick onion slices and summer squash are amoung the foods that stand up well to this full-flavored marinade. Substitute a small onion for the shallot if you wish.  This recipe is considered a Phase 1 recipe even though it contains wine; the wine will burn off while cooking.
 
  1. Combine wine, oil, vinegar, diced shallot, minced garlic, sugar substitute, coarsely chopped rosemary, pepper, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
