Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
- 3 tablespoons chopped Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 medium (2-3/4" diameter) (approx 3 per pound) Apples
- 11 ounces Turkey Sausage
- 6 slice (1 ounce) Cheddar Cheese
- 1 1/4 pounds Ground Turkey
Directions:
- Preheat a grill or use a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Grate the apple and finely dice the chipotle peppers.
- Combine the apple, chipotle, ground turkey, turkey sausage, garlic and salt. Mix together until thoroughly mixed then form into 6 patties.
- Grill or fry with oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear; about 6 minutes per side. Place cheese on top and allow to melt for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
