Cheddar Burger with Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces Ground Beef (80% Lean / 20% Fat)
  • 1 slice (1 ounce) Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped Onions
  • 4 whole each Mushroom Pieces and Stems
  • 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions:

  1. Form beef into a patty and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.  Grill burger to desired degree of doneness.
  2. Meanwhile, slice the mushrooms and onions then sauté in a skillet with 1 teaspoon of virgin olive oil until mushrooms are soft and onions are tender.
  3. To serve, place burger on plate, top with onions and mushrooms and then cheese.
