Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Brussels Sprouts
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 6 ounce raw (yield after cooking) Bacon
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)

Directions:

  1. Wash, trim and cut Brussels sprouts in half.
  2. Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Brown bacon, transferring to a paper towel when done and set aside to cool. Once cool, cut or break into bite sized pieces. Set aside and remove all but 1-2 Tbsp bacon grease from the pan.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts, salt and pepper to the pan. Sauté over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until lightly golden and cooked through; about 15 minutes.
  4. Add cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir to heat through another 1 minute. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle bacon over the top. Serve immediately.
