INGREDIENTS

  • 2 thin slice Red Onions
  • 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Xylitol
  • 6 oz Ground Turkey 93/7
  • 2 tbsp Real Mayonnaise
  • 0 1/2 tsp chopped Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
  • 3 cup (47.3g) Mixed Baby Greens
  • 1 thick/large slice (1/2" thick) Tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat a grill or prepare a non-stick skillet with a little oil over medium-high heat.  Cut the onion into smaller strips and place them in a bowl with the vinegar and sugar substitute.  Set aside.
  2. Season the ground turkey with salt and freshly ground black pepper then form it into a burger.  Grill or pan-fry the burger until it is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
  3. Make the aioli by combining the mayonnaise and chipotle in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Toss the salad greens with 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp lemon juice and place onto a serving plate.  Top with the burger layered with the slice of tomato, onions (drain off the liquid first and discard it), and aioli.
