How to Calculate Atkins Net Carbs
Atkins Net Carbs = Total Carbohydrates – Fiber – Sugar Alcohols/Glycerin (if applicable)
×INGREDIENTS
-
4 fl oz Decaffeinated Coffee
-
3 tbsp Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup, Hershey's
-
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened)
-
2 tsp No Calorie Sweetener
-
0 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
DIRECTIONS
This recipe is a too high in NC for phase 1 but if you make only half a serving as a dessert or treat it is acceptable.- In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the coffee, chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Stir until cocoa has dissolved, about 2 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Transfer to a blender. Add sugar substitute and cream; blend until combined. Add 12 to 14 ice cubes in batches; blending until frothy.
