INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup Brussels Sprouts (raw)
  • 1 Tbsp Butter, salted or unsalted
  • 1 each Garlic, clove
  • 0 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 0 1/16 tsp Salt
  • 0 1/16 tsp Black Pepper, ground
  • 1 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated

DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Quarter large Brussels sprouts and halve small sprouts. Turn off the heat, add the sprouts to the water and cover. Let sit for 1 ½ minutes then drain immediately. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel to remove excess water.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 390°. Combine melted butter, minced or pressed garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parmesan in a medium bowl. Add sprouts and toss to coat. Arrange sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer, setting the bowl aside to save any remaining garlic butter for the next step. Cook sprouts in the air fryer for 3 minutes, stop and shake, and cook for another 3 ½ minutes until crispy and starting to char.
  3. Pour the sprouts back into the medium bowl, scraping down the sides of the bowl and gently folding to coat the sprouts with any remaining garlic butter mixture. Serve while hot. One serving is about 1/3 cup cooked sprouts.
