My Story: In June of 2014 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes as well as hypertension and put on medication. As luck would have it I had a bad reaction to the diabetes medication. Not wanting to deal with the side effects of the medication, I began researching other ways to get my blood sugar in check. That's when I found Atkins. For the last two years I have lived on the induction phase, in a ketogenic state. I have completely reversed my type 2 diabetes as well as my hypertension and every other health concern my doctor had. I have gone from a 415 lb couch potato to an amateur triathlete and adventure race participant. My kids finally have a dad that can keep up with them and have fun.
