Keto Chipotle-Apple Turkey Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 medium (2-3/4" diameter) (approx 3 per pound) Apples
  • 11 ounces Turkey Sausage
  • 6 slice (1 ounce) Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds Ground Turkey

Directions:

  1. Preheat a grill or use a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.  
  2. Grate the apple and finely dice the chipotle peppers.  
  3. Combine the apple, chipotle, ground turkey, turkey sausage, garlic and salt.  Mix together until thoroughly mixed then form into 6 patties.  
  4. Grill or fry with oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear; about 6 minutes per side.  Place cheese on top and allow to melt for 1-2 minutes.  Serve immediately.
