“A LOW CARB LIFESTYLE GOT ME OFF
THE DIET ROLLER COASTER-FINALLY!”
“I wasted many years trying and failing with various diets,
running the gamut from raw food to the cabbage soup diet,
but always extremely low fat. I spent my days feeling
unsatisfied and obsessed with food, watching enviously
when I saw anyone enjoying “forbidden” foods like cheese,
whole eggs and heaven forbid-ranch dressing.
But since I made Atkins a part of my life, that’s all
changed. My pantry is full of yummy nuts and Atkins bars
and shakes, and my fridge is stocked with fresh vegetables
(for salads and roasting with olive oil or sautéing in butter),
sliced meats, wonderful cheeses, and great salads from
my local health food store (made with real mayonnaise, of
course). When we eat out, I always know I can find
something great on the menu, whether I feel like a Cobb
salad with ranch dressing, or a great big piece of salmon
with sautéed spinach and a side Caesar salad (hold the
croutons, but keep the cheese and toss in the dressing).
I’ve spoken out quite a bit about health and how the low
carbohydrate lifestyle got me off of the diet roller coaster –
finally!”
